Brendan began his journey in law as an intellectual property litigator in the pharmaceutical industry but has expanded his litigation practice in recent years to tackle a diverse array of problems at the intersection of technology and the law, namely in the digital, agrochemical, petrochemical, grocer, marine engineering and cryptocurrency sectors. Brendan possesses extensive commercial litigation experience in the Federal Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Nova Scotia Supreme Court, Nova Scotia Court of Appeal and in Small Claims Court. Brendan has been heavily involved in both domestic and international commercial arbitration and in a number of matters before tribunals, including the Canadian International Trade Tribunal. Brendan is also part-time faculty at the Schulich School of Law and has both coached and judged the Harold G. Fox Canadian Intellectual Property Moot.
